Playmobil’s first sustainable play world, Wiltopia, is made from 80% recycled material and takes young animal lovers deep into the Amazon rainforest with a sprawling animal care station. Perfect for kids who want to learn about sustainability while they play.

If you’re still hunting for a gift for your children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews — something sustainable that kids will genuinely love — it’s worth taking a look at Playmobil’s new Wiltopia world.

All the Playmobil Fun You’d Expect, Now Sustainable

Alongside the modern, blended Palmer family, young animal enthusiasts travel deep into the Amazon rainforest and step into a richly imagined play world, full of original accessories, careful attention to detail, dozens of new Playmobil animals, and inventive features. At the Large Animal Care Station, injured animals from the rainforest are nursed back to health before being released back into the wild. Five further detail-packed sets and 27 animals promise plenty of play and plenty to learn.

Each animal set comes with informative collector’s cards summarizing key facts about the animal in question. A QR code on the cards links to the Wiltopia web app, which offers audio clips with more information about each animal.

The Wiltopia Web App

In the Wiltopia web app, budding young naturalists can discover the creatures that crawl and fly, run and slither, roar and bellow. There’s plenty to play with and plenty to learn, including puzzles, coloring pages, and video and audio content — and no app download required.

Made from Old Refrigerators

The Wiltopia play sets are made from over 80 percent sustainable material, teaching children about animals, nature and the environment, and the importance of sustainability, in a playful, engaging way. On the Wiltopia website, a short, kid-friendly film explains the principles of recycling.

Toy of the Year

Wiltopia has picked up prestigious awards across the US and Europe. In Germany, it was named one of the Top 10 Toys of 2022. The Large Animal Care Station was named Toy of the Year 2022 by the Swedish baby and toy association Lek & Baby, an award given annually by an expert jury. In the Netherlands, too, the Large Animal Care Station took the title of Toy of the Year 2022 in the Sustainability category. And in the US, the same set won Good Housekeeping’s 2022 Best Toy Awards, standing out especially for safety, quality and play value.
