Award-winning Swiss chocolate maker Choba Choba isn’t just redefining fine chocolate — it’s rewriting how business gets done. As a pioneer of the “farmer-owned business” model, Choba Choba took a genuinely groundbreaking approach: its Peruvian cocoa farmers aren’t just suppliers, but shareholders and co-founders of the company. This unusual partnership lets farmers share not only in the profits but in every major business decision — a clear statement of commitment to fairness, sustainability and community.

Choba Choba is marking its continued commitment to quality and social responsibility with the launch of two new organic chocolate bars: Caramel Sea Salt and Hazelnut.

Caramel Sea Salt, 41% Organic

Choba Choba proudly unveils its latest creation: the Caramel Sea Salt organic bar. This exquisitely balanced Swiss organic milk chocolate is made from cocoa beans grown on the company’s own farms in Peru’s picturesque Huayabamba Valley, paired with premium Swiss organic milk. The bar is finished with golden caramel and given its refinement by French sea salt from the Guérande region. The extra layer of caramel draws out the milk chocolate’s delicate caramel notes, while the sea salt balances the sweetness in perfect proportion. The result is an irresistible fusion of sweet and salty that seduces the senses and lingers on the palate.

Hazelnut, 64% Organic

Choba Choba also introduces the new Hazelnut 64% Organic bar, a sensory experience for lovers of dark chocolate everywhere. Made with a 64% cocoa content from beans grown on the company’s own farms in the idyllic Alto Huayabamba Valley, this bar is masterfully finished by Switzerland’s top chocolatiers. What sets it apart are the fine hazelnut pieces folded throughout, lending the bold dark chocolate an exciting texture and rich depth of flavor. Choba Choba’s Hazelnut 64% Organic brings together artisanal craft, ethical farming, and an irresistible pairing of velvety cocoa and crunchy hazelnuts for an unforgettable bite.

Choba Choba sources its cocoa from four communities in the Alto Huayabamba Valley, in the heart of Upper Amazonia — often called the “cradle of the cacao tree.” There, 40 cocoa-farming families cultivate 120 hectares using agroecological and agroforestry methods. This climate-resilient approach also improves water quality, boosts soil fertility and reduces the risk of erosion. Once fermented, the cocoa is shipped to Switzerland, where the country’s finest chocolatiers transform it into exceptional fine chocolate.

Choba Choba’s organic chocolate bars retail for €8.00–9.00 and are available online at www.feine-schokoladen.de or in person at KaDeWe in Berlin.
