Paris-based femtech company Perifit designs products meant to make life easier for women at every stage of life.
Their latest launch is a fully portable, BPA-free breast pump that lets breastfeeding mothers pump discreetly, anytime, anywhere. Two years of research went into the pump, all in service of giving breastfeeding mothers more flexibility and freedom. The innovative breast shield is made from soft, BPA-free silicone, which makes the pump both more effective and remarkably comfortable. During pumping, the shield adapts to the shape of the nipple, mimicking a baby’s natural mouth movements. Studies show this approach to pumping is especially effective and can even help boost milk production.
A Deliberately Simple Design
The pump’s clean, minimalist design allows for discreet pumping wherever it’s needed. Perifit’s portable pump is simple to operate and can be used entirely hands-free, giving mothers the freedom to tend to their baby — or anything else — while pumping. Thanks to its thoughtful design, the Perifit pump consists of just five parts and does away with cords and tubes entirely. It’s also dishwasher-safe for a thorough clean.
The portable pump pairs with an app that lets mothers track pumped milk volume in real time. It also allows the stimulation mode to be adjusted, with a choice of 8 different suction settings that can be tailored to individual needs.
Capable of reaching 300 mmHg, the pump delivers top performance without compromising the safety of mother or child. All materials are food-safe and BPA-free. The battery is rechargeable, and the 160 ml bottle is reusable. The device comes with a 2-year warranty, and its washable parts carry a 90-day warranty.
